Since "coming out" as an alien contactee I've met some interesting people. I had steeled myself for ridicule, jokes, criticism ... but instead a surprising thing happened. I was greeted with acceptance, curiosity and that lovely warm feeling of camaraderie to hear someone say "me too!!"

I'd walk with my people if I could find them ~ Stephan Jenkins, Third Eye Blind

Not surprisingly, people from other countries are more open-minded about alien contact. It confirms what my alien friends have told me, that we - in particular, we people in the United States - live in fear. It's no one's fault, the climate of fear has progressed over the course of decades and many things have fed into it. What's important is to accept where we are now and move forward. It does no good to place blame or keep rehashing the past. What we need to do is take a good look at where we are now, today; fill up our souls with love and then run with it. It fits in with the alien concept of time; they do not dwell in the past or the future because time itself is fluid. All we have is the now. This moment. Choose in this moment, now, love over fear.

When someone from the U.S. does reach out to me, generally the first thing they say is "Please don't think I'm crazy." It makes me want to reach out and give that person a cyber hug. I know all too well the fear of being mentally unbalanced, locked up in a padded cell, laughed at. In reality none of those things ever happened to me, but the fear was ever-present. Again with the fear. Naturally it's prudent not to go into your conservative workplace, stand up on your desk and proudly announce "The aliens let me fly their ship again last night." There is a time and a place for all things. I do believe that within my lifetime, we - all people - will come to know that aliens are not only here but they are benevolent, wise, compassionate, and they love us. I don't know why, but they love us. Yes, even you.

Of all the questions and comments I've received, the most deeply touching one was a simple question. "Do you miss the stars?" Yes, my friend, I do. I miss them terribly. But for now we are here, on this difficult adventure called human life on Earth, and we each do the best we can, with a little help from our alien friends.
